Duplo Nativity

During church today we had duplo to play with for little ones (not ideal a little noisy but it was my idea...opps) was supposed to be to make swords to respond the talk on armour of God. After a few swords they moved on  and thought this was so adorable a nativity scene from duplo!

Super Heroes - Old Testament Heros

We are going to be exploring Old testament heroes (until we get to Jesus for Easter) 

As an introduction we thought about superheroes that we knew of and what they did. Then designed our own superhero, identifying his superhero characteristics, introducing Super Mo!

Then we explored the story of Noah and thought about what his superhero powers are. Then how we can use them skills in our own lives.

Samson Play Activities

We are going to "trial" providing children with some structured play activities I guess loosely based on montessori prepared activities. We try to support children to play around the story but some are struggling with this. I also think that it would greatly support any children who have children with autistic spectrum disorders using TEACCH principles.
